Multiplace chambers are walk-in pressure vessels that treat several occupants per session and are run by trained staff from an external control position - equipment for hospitals, hyperbaric centers and larger commercial operators, not for home use. Ten of the sixteen manufacturers documented on HBOT-Wiki list multiplace systems, with documented capacities from 2 to 24 occupants and pressure ratings mostly between 2.0 and 6.0 ATA. Published pricing is rare: one manufacturer states a starting price, the rest quote on request.

Ten documented manufacturers, 2 to 24 occupants

Ten of the sixteen manufacturers documented on HBOT-Wiki list multiplace systems: Perry Baromedical, Tekna Manufacturing, Pan-America Hyperbarics and Environmental Tectonics Corporation in the USA, HAUX-LIFE-SUPPORT, Dremenia and X4Oxygen in Germany, Fink Engineering in Australia, HPO Tech in Turkey and ONE Hyperbarics in the UK. Documented capacities run from two-person units (Environmental Tectonics) to 24 occupants (Tekna, HAUX). HAUX's own company page describes its 2025 installation at Pasteur II Hospital in Nice as treating up to 30 patients at once; we use the conservative product-page maximum of 24.

Documented pressure ratings mostly sit between 2.0 and 6.0 ATA: Fink 2.0-2.8, HPO Tech 2.0-6.0, Environmental Tectonics 3.0, Perry, Tekna and Pan-America 3-6. HAUX lists 3-21 ATA - the upper end far above that cluster; the figure is a manufacturer-stated product-page range with no published breakdown by chamber line, and it is not register-verified. ONE Hyperbarics publishes no pressure figure at all.

Verification

What the registers confirm - and what they don't

Seven of the ten multiplace manufacturers hold at least one credential we could confirm in an official register: FDA 510(k) clearances for Perry (6), Pan-America (4), Environmental Tectonics (3), Tekna (2, filed by applicant Hypertec Inc.) and Fink (2), plus active EUDAMED registrations for HAUX and HPO Tech.

ONE Hyperbarics, X4Oxygen and Dremenia currently rest on manufacturer claims only - no register entry we could verify. That does not make the equipment deficient, but due diligence then has to start from the manufacturer's own documents rather than a public register. Operations

A staffed facility, not an appliance

Unlike a monoplace unit, a multiplace system needs a trained operator at the controls for every session, and depending on jurisdiction an attendant inside the chamber - recurring staffing costs that belong in any ROI calculation alongside the purchase price. The dossiers reflect this: HAUX runs its own training center with training chambers, HPO Tech and Pan-America include staff training in their service scope, and Fink delivers turnkey with commissioning and training.

Maintenance is contract-grade as well: Tekna specifies annual maintenance and recalibration (service day USD 475), Perry offers annual plans with 24-48 h emergency response, Environmental Tectonics runs a 24/7 emergency service. Budget for a service contract from day one.

Buyer fit

Hospitals first, hospitality emerging

The documented reference lists are dominated by institutions: HAUX equipped Pasteur II Hospital in Nice (2025) and Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm (2005); Fink installations include Mayo Clinic and Toronto General Hospital; Environmental Tectonics names several US hospitals; Tekna cites dedicated hyperbaric centers such as Midwest Hyperbarics.

A second buyer profile is emerging at the lower capacity end: ONE Hyperbarics targets hotels and wellness operators, lists Savoy Signature, Fairmont and Six Senses among its references (manufacturer claim), and is the only maker in this group with published multiplace pricing - multi-person systems from GBP 150,000, final price configuration-dependent.

Fix your capacity and pressure requirement first, then filter: five manufacturers document 12 or more occupants (Tekna, HAUX, Perry, Pan-America, HPO Tech), the rest top out at six or below. Then ask every shortlisted supplier for a written price quote, warranty terms and a service contract offer - across these ten manufacturers, published pricing is missing for nine (only ONE Hyperbarics states a starting price) and complete written warranty terms are unpublished or incomplete for most.
