HBOT-Wiki is an independent reference for buyers of hyperbaric chambers - wellness operators, fitness centers, hotels, and private buyers. This page explains how content on this site is checked before publication. It is not a roster of medical endorsements: we do not list names we cannot verify, and nothing on this site constitutes medical advice or a treatment claim.
So this page is a method statement, not a marketing badge. It tells you exactly how each figure on a manufacturer profile is sourced, checked and labelled - so you can judge a chamber on evidence rather than on the confidence of a sales page. Everything below is the standard we hold our own content to.
Certifications checked against official registers
Every manufacturer profile on HBOT-Wiki follows one identical data schema: chamber type (monoplace, multiplace, soft-sided), operating pressure in ATA, capacity, certification status (CE, FDA, ISO), price range, service area, installation and maintenance, warranty, and B2B references. Identical fields, identical order, for every manufacturer - so profiles can be compared line by line.
Certification entries are not copied from sales material. Where a manufacturer states CE, FDA, or ISO status, we check that statement against official registers and databases. Statements we can only trace back to the manufacturer itself are clearly labeled as manufacturer claims. Data points without a verifiable source are published as "not specified" - never estimated, never interpolated.
Each data point carries an internal source URL and a retrieval date. Where sources conflict, we publish the more conservative value and flag the conflict for review. Certifications, operating pressure, and prices get the strictest treatment, because these are the fields where a wrong number costs a buyer real money.
Who reviews the content
Every manufacturer profile and explainer is checked against its cited sources before it goes live, following the method above. Where we reference a named individual - for example our editorial profile of Bryan Johnson and his publicly documented longevity protocol - it is framed as coverage of a public figure, never as a paid endorsement or an advisory tie to this site.
We add named reviewers to the panel only when their qualification, affiliation and actual role in checking our content can be verified and shown openly.
